Let’s Start Talking: Conversations that Communicate and Lead Change

  • Tuesday, November 17, 2026

  • 12:00 PM ET

  • Virtual Event | Limited to 100 Participants

What happens when a colleague or team member asks you about your new change initiative—and you’re nowhere near your walking deck? How do you begin the conversation?

Conversation begins when connection is established and the fastest way to do that is through story, because story is emotionally engaging.

Conversation succeeds when the other person understands what’s being said, and the best way to ensure that is by using narrative structure, because it’s how we learn.

Conversation leads when people engage and execute as a result.

Why it will benefit you. Most people rely on their decks to explain initiatives, but most conversations happen spontaneously—walking down the hall, over a cup of coffee. Chances are, what you say in that moment becomes a part of the informal information network that flows through your company. So what you say matters.

What you’ll learn. Learn how to structure informal conversations so that you communicate your key points with clarity and understanding. Because if people can’t understand, they can’t execute.

Who should attend. For Directors and above who’re leading or planning change or who want to hone their leadership communication skills.
